ABOUT JOHN

John LaHines began his career in Greenwich, Connecticut in the 1970s. What started with an initial foray into the floor covering business soon grew into a successful occupation. For two decades, John owned The Floor Store, a successful floor covering shop serving the trades and retail buyers of fine ceramics, wood flooring, carpet and tile. Running the business gave him an extensive knowledge of home renovation.

In 1990, John decided to pursue his growing passion for general construction full time. He sold his business, but carried his well-honed attention to detail with him as he embarked on his new career. For the next 15 years, John worked on home additions and renovations for many homeowners throughout Fairfield and Westchester Counties. Building everything from intricate trim details to stunning, sun-filled spaces, John has become a highly-respected contractor and artisan. He is actively sought after to demonstrate his mastery of fine trim and finish work.

Today, John, a long time resident of Norwalk, enjoys early morning golf course views from the custom deck he built off his master bedroom. He's always thinking of new ideas for projects and he looks forward to hearing from you.
